Balenciaga Paris Eau de Parfum Review

I was watching a video on Youtube and this guy was excitedly talking about Balenciaga Paris. HE described the notes, and explained how it smelled. From watching that video I was very intrigued by what he said. Shortly after watching that video I sampled the scent at my local Neiman Marcus. My parents  than bought this for me, for a Christmas gift.

The bottle is beautiful and very unique. If you only look at the bottle head on, the bottle looks very simple, almost plain. But when you look at the bottle from a birds-eye view it is not a symmetrical shape. The cap is supposed to look like its cracked. The Perfume comes in a black velvet drawstring bag with the words BALENCIAGA  PARIS inscribed in gold lettering. 

The fragrance is very long lasting. I spray this wherever and I can smell it throughout a full day of work and play. 

Since this is a parfume 

it lasts almost 7-8 hours. I smell this 

continuously and it never fades on my. 

The scent is heavenly! Hands down one of my favourite fragrances EVER! I am forever enchanted by the scents wonderful violet and vetiver combination.  This is an exquisite and original scent, its green and powdery smelling all at the same time. I have read reviews were people compare it to what "your grandma would wear" but I beg to differ. I think this fragrance can be warm and 

inviting and young and fresh smelling as long 

as the person wearing it, knows how to wear it. I truly recommend this fragrance to anyone who likes a fresh, demure, powdery smell who appreciates violet. This scent will most likely not interest the very young, but It did for me!

Lolita Lempicka Fleur de Corall

I received a sample of this perfume during a trip to France, After buying everything Guerlain the nice women gave me sample of many different perfumes. One of the samples was the Fleur de Corall. I immediately fell in love with the scent and hurried my way to my local Perfumania store and bought it. 

The bottle is cute, I really think it is beautiful. It is a wonderfully crafted piece of artwork. The bottle itself is made out of sandglass which is very smooth, and frosted. The golden cap is adorned with 3 charms; one of a 5-pointed white flower with gold center, the other of a cursive "L" embellished with white "pearls", the third charm is a white piece of beach coral.  On the bottle there is starfish embossed onto the bottle. The bottle is the epitome of femininity.

The fragrance is a PERFUME  and lasts for about 7 hours. The fragrance can not be obnoxious because the fragrance is so soft and delicate. I normally spray this in my hair, and on my neck. While working out or being very active I can smell wonderful whiffs of this perfume.

The scent is beach-like, it is reminiscent of warm summer nights. As well the seductive salty smell with the addition of cinnamon and something sea-like.  Something is heavier it could very well be the driftwood. Whenever I spray this fragrance I forgot what I am wearing, but I have to retrace all my actions, until I figure out I am wearing Fleur de Corall. I always over think that such a beautiful bottle could be so complex yet simple. I Highly recommend this perfume, not only is this inexpensive, it is just a stupendous scent. (Did I happen to say..... The box is beautiful too!)

Givenchy Play intense (male)

I first smelled this fragrance in the advertisement strip. The advertisement  had encouraged me to check it out  at Sephora, where I sampled it and I just had to buy! Since I had just acquired some money for work, I was happily able to spend a few extra dollars and buy the "Intense" version of the perfume. 

The bottle is large even though it is a 3.3 oz Eau de Toilette spray, it is the same height as my hand! The main body of the perfume is a flat matte black, with the words "PLAY" in a firey red colour, to the left it says "RWD" and to the left it says "FFWD". The bottle is supposed to be an interpretation of an Apple iPod. The bottle is truly magnificent and not to mention incredibly imaginative and unique! 

The fragrance is an EDT which is terrible news since this is such an incredible scent! Even with it being the "intense" version I still only smell this for about 3-4 hours, but when I can smell this I am in LOVE! I normally can not smell this on myself but others always can, not to mention if I spray too much ;) I am absorbed in the scent and in its following cloud.

This scent is not that special, it is actually a very typical scent for a male fragrance, nonetheless I still adore it. It is almost commercial/mainstream if you understand what I am saying. An analogy would be this fragrance's scent is like the males version of Light Blue, all too common but a pleasant smell. When I have worn this fragrance I have almost always received at least one to two comments about how "incredible I smell." This fragrance is captivating, and genuinely enjoyable to smell!
